Responsibilities:
- Radio Linesman/Riggers should have at least three years of direct work experience within the wireless technology area inclusive of a recognized rigging/climbing certificate in the appropriate discipline, and at least five years of direct work experience in the telecommunications construction industry.
- Work performed in this area will typically include a combination of activities and/or behaviours exemplified by the following:
- Provision of high level rigging support;
- Performance of and reporting on technical investigations associated with rigging investigations;
- Installation, Testing / Commissioning of telecommunications RF hardware, Antennas, Feeders, TMD’s, RET cables, etc;
- Installation, Testing / Commissioning of telecommunications structural elements such as concrete, steel / timber poles, masts / towers, head/frames, rooftop poles, etc;
- Installation, Testing / Commissioning of upgrades to existing structures such as building,
- masts, poles / towers etc;
- Responsibility for the quality and timely completion of construction activities;
- Performance of field inspections / auditing; and,
- Liaison with installation staff, operations staff and local authorities.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate or Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Industrial), Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Filipino
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent. Job role in Telecommunication Engineer or equivalent.
